Crionna Assist US Biotech in
Development of Phase III Strategic Development Plan for
Oncology Product

established CRO Crionna has been awarded a contract to
assist in the design of three clinical trials as part of
a Strategic Development Plan for a Phase III Oncology
product. The US Biotechnology Company intends to launch
the studies in both the US and Europe in 2005 following
review and approval of the Phase III development plans
by the FDA.
Crionna team members have, over a
period of three years working with this company,
sucessfully demonstrated their ability to harmonise
study designs and identify cost effective modifications
to study objectives leading to a significant reduction
in timeframes and patient recruitment
requirements.
This study will launch Crionna as a
high level CRO and Clinical Trial Consultancy and allow
the company to continue their pursuit of excellence in
Oncology and Immunology focussed clinical trials.
Crionna Opens Offices at the West of
Scotland Science Park
13 March Crionna Research
Organisation, opened offices today at the West of
Scotland Science Park in Glasgow. The company will use
this base close to the famous Beatson Oncology centre to
set up clinical trial management and advisory services
for both the Biopharmaceutical and public health sector
industries.
Crionna aims to assist both commercial and non commercial
groups to conduct quality research and speed new
therapies to patients. The company will focus on novel
clinical products and utilise the scientific experience
of the management team in Immunology and
Oncology.
In addition to Clinical Trial Services,
Crionna will continue to conduct a number of research
projects including scientific research into Oral Cancer
Gene expression and the development of novel electronic data
capture and transfer systems. Over the coming years
Crionna hopes to develop alliances with other specialist
companies in these fields of Research and Development and
to continue to address the unmet needs of patients.
Crionna Assist Local
Pharmaceutical Company in Data Collection for UK Cancer
Study

established Crionna today won business from a Scotland
based pharmaceutical company to assist in data
collection from patients receiving a photodynamic and
chemotherapy combination. The data will be used as part
of a portfolio of work to be presented to the FDA for a
Go-No-Go decision on further clinical trials with this
combination therapy.
